I was so excited to see Oaklyn for her one year session!  A lot of the one year sessions I do are Grow with Me babies, so I’ve seen them several times over the last year and while it’s fun to see them get bigger and change – it’s not nearly the growth that I saw in Oaklyn!   The last time I photographed Oaklyn, it was when she was a barely 4 pound newborn, still in the hospital for her Fresh 48 session.  So you can imagine how excited I was to see how much she had grown and changed over the last year!   What a beautiful, sweet princess she has become – and all over the place!

She was definitely a busy little baby, wanting to run all over and see what was going on – and she really loved her cupcake!  Mom had requested rainbows for her session and I special-ordered a backdrop for her but it didn’t come in time.   So I had to improvise by creating a special rainbow dream catcher, which made the perfect backdrop for her simple cake smash.

Alisia and family – it has been so much fun working with you guys over the last year.  I wish you all the best with the new baby boy and hope I get to meet him as well one day!
