I’m so in love with these images from Peyton and Michael’s New Orleans City Park engagement session!   It was just one of those perfect afternoons where the weather was beautiful, the light was gorgeous and the couple was just a blast to hang out with.  Peyton’s parents and her two “best dogs”, Hercules and Ammo, were also along for the day!

We met up in City Park and took advantage of the beautiful light streaming through all of the Spanish moss on the oak trees everywhere.  It was a Friday afternoon and thankfully, not nearly as busy as a weekend can be – especially when New Orleans gets nice fall weather!   Hercules and Ammo, of course, got to get in on a few images and they did so well.  Boston terriers always make me giggle with all of their snorting and grunting noises and these two weren’t any different!

I love the colors and outfits Peyton and Michael chose for their session.  I always recommend a casual and more dressy outfit and never matching, always just coordinating.  I love how the neutral tones of their first outfit blend perfectly with the colors of the park and how Peyton’s bold-colored dress just pops in the second set of images.  I also love the long, flowy fabric – these types of dresses are always beautiful in photos.   I can’t wait to photograph these two again for their wedding next year!
