What a beautiful, perfect day we had for Logan and Alexis’ engagement photos!   I had so much fun with these two – it kind of makes me a little sad that I won’t see them get married since it’s in HAWAII!  Yep, what a dream, right?

Logan and Alexis chose Avery Island for their engagement session, which had only recently opened back up.  We had perfect weather, perfect light … it was just an ideal day.  Avery Island is a pretty spread out area and you need to drive from location to location, so that gave us plenty of time to talk and laugh, and for me to get to know them better.  I loved hearing how they met and all about their daughter, Alanna.

Even though I won’t be at their Hawaii wedding, I will get to see Alexis again really soon when I photograph her bridal portraits.   I’m really looking forward to spending another afternoon with her, I know she will be beautiful!
