Finally sharing Hailey’s bridal portraits this week means that I’m ready to share their wedding photos, too!    Hailey and Luke were married last month in Morgan City and it was my favorite wedding of the year for so many reasons – but I’ll save that for the wedding day post!

Hailey lives out of state, so we had to book her bridal portraits on a weekend when she would be in town – the ONLY weekend she was in town before the wedding and the forecast for the day was not good.   Torrential rain and winds were predicted for the day – but we had to move forward with the session anyway.  If worse came to worse, Fairfax House has lots of indoor areas we could use and some beautiful, large porches!

But God blessed us with dry weather for the majority of the session!    Although overcast, we were still able to get some gorgeous photos of Hailey under the oak trees at Fairfax House.  It didn’t start raining until we were on the front porch and once we got inside, it started pouring.   You can see through the windows in some of the photos just how dark it had gotten outside.  Despite all of this, I had a blast that day with Hailey, her mom, aunt and grandmother.  They are just the most amazing family – all so kind and welcoming!

But Hailey – what a beautiful, classic bride with the absolute best smile!  This beauty also has brains – Hailey recently graduated from medical school and will be moving across the country with her new husband to start their new lives together!   Be sure to check out their wedding day blog post, coming soon!
