Photographing these two is so special, I love seeing Declan as a big brother!   I vividly remember his newborn session because it was one of the ones I did in the height of Covid, not long after quarantine was over.  Most of my clients at this time were previous ones, but Declan’s parents and I had never met before and they drove all the way from Baton Rouge to trust me with their brand new baby boy.   Does anyone else look back on those days and feel like they were surreal?

Two years later, Covid is starting to surge again and, ironically, we had to push back Franklin’s newborn session because of it.  So I was so thankful to see them a few weeks later and to meet sweet baby Franklin!  The one request mom had was to use the same bonnet that I used for Declan – of course, I always love a good comparison collage!   Scroll down to see if these two look alike as newborns!
