Kayla and Austin’s maternity session at Lake End Park in Morgan City was perfection!   I love that we have this unique little location not far from us, especially since Kayla specifically wanted to incorporate water into the session.  She and Austin met through competitive sailing and both of them have jobs that take them on the water often.  For this reason, it made perfect sense to do these photos by the beach!  The other reason that I really love this location for them, is that they are from New Jersey and have only lived in Louisiana about a year.  Since Kayla is in the Coast Guard, it’s likely they will move on within a couple of years and these photos will always remind them of their time here.   The cypress trees in the water are such a unique feature to this area and their baby girl will be able to look back and see where she once lived.   I can’t wait to meet her in just a few weeks!
