Man, I was doing so well with keeping up with the blog for a little while, but it’s now October and busy season is here!   Not only is this the typical photographer’s busy season, but October is the month of birthdays over here!   Yesterday was my mom’s birthday, tomorrow is my son’s 17th birthday, next week is my daughter’s birthday and the following week my husband’s and dad’s birthdays are on the same day.   When you add in Halloween and fall break, it’s a month that typically gives me constant anxiety about something falling through the cracks.   Although November is much easier as far as family commitments, it gets a lot crazier as far as business goes.   November is officially “fall mini session” month (and unofficially “wedding month”).   If you haven’t yet signed up for fall family mini-sessions, there aren’t many spots left and I will be closing the sign-ups in a couple of weeks.  You can visit this link here to sign up or to see what dates and times are still available:  https://jamieheyl.com/mini-session-sign-up

Sweet baby Percy came to see me with his big sister a few weeks ago – aren’t they both just the cutest?  Percy was a champ for his mini-session, even letting me get a bucket pose of him!  This one can sometimes take a little longer so I don’t always have time to attempt it during a mini-session, but Percy was so good, he made it all so easy!
