These are some of the many reasons Taylor and Dustin chose this location for their engagement session and this time of year was absolutely perfect for a fall session. The warm sunlight lit up the moss of the oak trees so that it made a glowy backdrop for the first half of the session. The bright fall colors surrounded them on the beach of Lake Pontchartrain in the second part of the session. The ironic part is that I took them down one of the side streets before heading to the beach because I wanted to get some of the yellow maple leaves in their photos so that we could capture at a little bit of the fall colors. I had no idea just how colorful the beachfront was going to be – especially with the warm glow of the almost-setting sun!
I had the best time with these two and I wish them all the best throughout the rest of their engagement and for their wedding ceremony on the beach in Florida next year!
