It’s always a privilege to capture the beauty and innocence of a newborn. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing baby Barrett and his first-time parents. It was a joy to work with such a loving and caring family, and I was thrilled to create a set of images that they will cherish for a lifetime.

What made this session unique was that Barrett had already had his Fresh 48 session taken a couple of weeks before. A Fresh 48 session is a special type of photography session that captures the first 48 hours of a newborn’s life, and it’s a beautiful way to capture those first precious moments.

Having already worked with Barrett and his parents during the Fresh 48 session, it was fun to see how much he had grown and changed in just that short amount of time. During the newborn session, we captured a range of beautiful images, from close-up shots of Barrett’s delicate features to family portraits that showcased the love and connection between his parents and their new son.

Throughout the session, Barrett’s parents were so attentive and loving, making sure that their little one was comfortable and content. It was clear how much they adored him, and it was an honor to capture that bond between them.  I can’t wait to see them again for Barrett’s one-year session!
