Happy 4th of July everyone!   My family is all out doing their own thing, so I’m at home catching up on editing and housework.   I wanted to finally share Brandi’s gorgeous bridal portraits that we did last month at Avery Island in New Iberia.   She and Rudy were married last weekend at The Berry Barn which couldn’t have been a more beautiful day!   Brandi, her mom Lisa and I had the best time during this session, despite it almost being a wash.     When I was on my way, Brandi called and said it was pouring.  Once we arrived at Avery Island, it was just a light rain, which thankfully didn’t last too long and barely even wet the ground.   We were able to do everything we wanted to do and even had plenty of beautiful light and sunshine.

After crazy strong winds for their engagement session last fall and the rain on her bridal day, thank goodness their wedding day weather was absolutely perfect!   Well, it was just a tad hot (South Louisiana in June hot) but other than thank, perfection!
