Hey there!   Today, I’m excited to share a newborn session featuring the adorable baby Ayla.  At just 9 days old, this tiny bundle, weighing a little over 6 pounds, slept peacefully for the beginning of the session as we captured her with her mama and daddy.   We were also able to photograph her wrapped up cozily in soft neutrals, creams, and pinks, just as her mama requested.

Like newborns often do, she did wake up briefly in the middle of our session, which allowed me to capture some beautiful awake photos before she drifted off to sleep again.

Using some more neutral and soft pink tones, Ayla easily slept through the end of her session, allowing me to capture a few of what I call “table photos.”  I know this is a little strange if you aren’t familiar with the newborn world, but I used to do these on a table stacked with blankets.   I no longer use that setup, but the name has just stuck.
