Back in June, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Blayne and Faith’s engagement session at the stunning Avery Island. While we had hoped for a sunny afternoon, the weather had other ideas—it rained almost the entire time! But if you know Blayne and Faith, you won’t be surprised to hear that they took it all in stride, laughing and embracing every moment.

From the start, these two were absolute troopers. We found ourselves running in and out of the trees, trying to dodge the downpours, and it turned into such a fun adventure. Blayne and Faith’s joy was infectious; every time the rain let up, we dashed to the next spot, capturing their love and laughter against the lush, rain-soaked backdrop.

Even when the rain refused to let up, we found a cozy covered porch where they shared a few quiet, intimate moments. The sound of the rain tapping on the roof added a romantic touch, making the session even more magical.

We ended the session with one last dance in the rain.   Their connection, their laughter, and the way they embraced the unexpected made this session one for the books.

Blayne and Faith, thank you for being such amazing sports and for turning what could have been a washout into a wonderful memory. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both!
