Salena & Trey’s Beautiful Wedding at Jean Lafitte Auditorium

Salena & Trey’s Beautiful Wedding at Jean Lafitte Auditorium

Salena and Trey’s wedding at Jean Lafitte Auditorium in Lafitte, Louisiana, was filled with love, laughter, and personal touches that reflected their unique journey together.  Capturing their wedding felt so meaningful because their love story is full of such unique and beautiful moments.

Salena and Trey’s story is one of those you only hear about in the best family anecdotes—filled with history, connections, and twists that brought them together in the sweetest way. Salena was Trey’s sister’s best friend growing up, and Trey secretly harbored a crush on her for years. Little did he know, their paths would intertwine in the most beautiful way. In an extra twist of fate, their siblings are married to each other—Salena’s brother is married to Trey’s sister. Talk about keeping it in the family! Together, they share the joy of raising baby girls born just 19 hours apart, with Salena and Trey’s daughter, Miley, making an adorable appearance in the ceremony.

A Wedding Full of Personal Touches and Family Love

The ceremony was held at the Jean Lafitte Auditorium, a stunning venue that provided the perfect backdrop for their big day. It was a cold January in Louisiana, less than a week after a rare snowstorm swept through the Southern part of the country—ironic, given that Salena and Trey were engaged in Colorado. But the chilly weather didn’t put a damper on the warmth and love that filled their wedding day.

The couple incorporated their deep family ties into the ceremony, making it truly one of a kind. Salena’s best friend growing up—and Trey’s older sister, Taylor—served as the officiant, adding a heartfelt and personal touch to the moment they exchanged their vows.

One of the most precious moments of the day was when their daughters, Miley and her cousin, Mazie, were pulled down the aisle together in an adorable decorated carriage. Seeing these two little ones, who will grow up as more than just cousins but practically sisters, was a reminder of the deep family bond that makes Salena and Trey’s love story so special.

Sea Glass Blue and Grey Elegance

Salena and Trey chose a dreamy palette of sea glass blue and grey, which fit their elegant yet relaxed vibe perfectly. Every detail reflected their vision, from the bridesmaids’ dresses by Azazie to the stunning florals arranged by Salena’s mom.  There were also fun favors like light up headbands and light sticks that added to the atmosphere on the dancefloor!

Salena looked breathtaking in her gown from The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe, while Trey and his groomsmen donned sharp suits from Tuxedos to Geaux.

Their First Look was meant to take place on the nature trail, but thanks to the melting snow, they chose the sunlit entrance instead. And honestly, it couldn’t have worked out better—the light streaming in made the moment feel extra beautiful.

A Celebration to Remember

The reception was just as lively and heartfelt as the ceremony. With 200 guests filling the venue, the evening was full of laughter,  joyful celebrating and tons of dancing. The DJ, Sam Gambino—a family friend—kept the party going with a mix of classic and modern hits that had everyone on the dance floor.

Salena and Trey’s family-focused day also included special dances and the evening ended with a fun exit that reflected the energy and love that surrounded this couple. It was the perfect close to a day that celebrated not just their union but the beautiful ties between their two families.
