Some sessions are extra special, and Quinn’s newborn session was definitely one of them! I first met her parents, Sarah and Clay, a couple years ago when I had the honor of photographing their engagement session and wedding. Watching their love story unfold and now getting to capture their journey into parenthood has been such a joy!
Miss Quinn made sure we all knew she had a big personality right from the start. She had something to say every time I moved her or adjusted a tiny detail, letting me know exactly how she felt about the process! But even with her spicy little attitude, she looked absolutely precious in every setup. We chose a soft, girly color palette of greens, neutrals, and pinks, which complemented her delicate features so beautifully.
Despite her strong opinions, we managed to capture some of the sweetest moments. From her tiny fingers curled up against her face to the peaceful moments when she (finally) decided to settle in, every image is a reminder of just how special and fleeting these newborn days are.
Towards the end of the session, Quinn’s grandma stopped by to watch, and it was so great to see her again, too! Seeing familiar faces from past weddings and getting to reconnect with families in this new season of life is one of the things I love most about what I do.
Sarah and Clay, it was such an honor to document this next chapter for your family! I have no doubt that Quinn is going to keep you both on your toes, and I can’t wait to see her grow!
