The Angeron Family | Lake End Park Family Session

Some sessions are extra special—not just because of the photos we take, but because of the people in them. This session with Brad, Adriane, and their beautiful girls, Mayci (“May”) and Julia (“Ju”), was one of those.

I first met Brad years ago when he was a wedding videographer, and over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work together many times. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he has such a genuine, thoughtful approach to everything he does. We also share a connection through our faith and our involvement in our churches, which has made our friendship even more meaningful. Brad also serves as the Executive Director of Operations for Vessels of Honor Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading the Gospel to some of the most remote areas of the world. His heart for ministry and serving others is something I admire.

But this session was extra special because it was the first time I had the chance to really spend time with his wife, Adriane, and their two sweet girls. And let me tell you—what a wonderful family. Adriane is warm, kind, and so easy to be around, and their daughters are absolutely precious. May and Ju are full of life, laughter, and all the energy you’d expect from two little girls with big personalities even when Ju was being a little shy. From the very first moments of the session, it was clear how much love and joy fills their home.

We spent a gorgeous December afternoon at Lake End Park in Morgan City, where the light was golden and the setting was peaceful—perfect for this session. Watching them interact, capturing the sweet snuggles, the giggles, and the way the girls lit up around their parents was truly special. It’s one of those sessions that makes you stop and appreciate how quickly time moves and how important it is to freeze these moments while we can.

What made this session even more meaningful was the way it came to be. Brad and I did a trade—he spent hours detailing my car (in the cold!) at my house, traveling to me just to make sure it was done perfectly. And let me tell you, it has never looked better! He put so much effort into it, and I was blown away by his kindness and generosity. I only hope these photos reflect even a fraction of the appreciation and gratitude I feel.

Brad, Adriane, May, and Ju—thank you for such a fun afternoon and for trusting me to capture these moments for you. Brad, I also just have to say… I still think you should pick up wedding videography again. Just putting that out into the universe. 😉

I had the best time with you all, and I hope you love these photos as much as I do!

Family sessions are more than just photos; they’re a reflection of love, joy, and the moments that matter most. If you’re looking to capture those memories, let’s chat!
