Newborn Session for Baby Evalyn | Soft Pink and Cream Tones in Houma Studio

I loved having baby Evalyn in the studio for her newborn session! She was just 10 days old and made the trip in from the New Orleans area with her sweet family. It’s always such a joy to see past clients again — I photographed big sister Emilia as a newborn almost two years ago, and now she’s a big sister!

At first, Emilia was a little unsure about the whole photo thing — as toddlers often are — and for a minute, we weren’t sure how it would go. But she quickly warmed up, and we ended up with so many beautiful sibling and family photos. It’s always so special to capture those sweet connections, especially with siblings so close in age!

For Evalyn’s session, her mom requested pinks, creams, and soft neutrals — a lovely change from the purples we used for Emilia. I pulled in different tones of peachy pink and creams, and they came together so beautifully. One of my absolute favorite images I’ve taken recently came from this session: Evalyn’s sweet little face framed perfectly in soft tones with the cutest bonnet — simple, timeless, and so precious.

These newborn days go by in the blink of an eye, and I feel so honored to help families freeze these moments forever.

If you’re expecting and would love soft, natural newborn photos like these, I’d love to chat with you!
