Tiny, perfect Evelyn came to see me at just 7 days old — and weighing a little over 6 pounds, she was absolute perfection. I had the pleasure of photographing her mama’s maternity session at the end of last year, so it was extra special to finally meet this sweet girl!

Evelyn brought along her proud parents (who are completely smitten with her), and her mom came prepared with the most thoughtful, sentimental touches — including her wedding veil and a sweet sign with Evelyn’s birth stats. I love when families incorporate personal details like that… they make the photos even more meaningful and unique.

This little one slept like a dream for most of the session, which made my job easy! Her mom requested soft pinks and creams, and we threw in a touch of purple just for fun and a little pop of color. Everything came together beautifully and complemented her delicate features so well.

Evelyn will be coming back for a milestone session later this year, and I already can’t wait to see how much she’s grown! These first days are so fleeting, and it’s always an honor to help preserve them in such a special way.
