Egan’s Senior Session | Downtown Thibodaux + E.D. White Baseball Field

There’s something really special about photographing someone you’ve known since they were little—and Egan’s senior session was one of those full-circle moments I’ll always remember.

I first started photographing Egan when he was just 3 years old. Back then, he was always a ham—full of energy, constantly smiling, and never afraid to get a little goofy in front of the camera. And while he’s definitely more laid-back these days, that fun-loving personality still made an appearance throughout our session. It was such a joy to capture him in this new season of life—more grown-up, more focused, but still the same sweet spirit.

For his senior photos, we started in downtown Thibodaux, where the mix of bold textures and urban backdrops gave us a classic yet cool vibe. From there, we headed to the E.D. White baseball field, which felt especially meaningful since Egan has spent so much of his life on the field. Baseball has been a huge part of his story—from playing on the team that won the Little League World Series in 2019, to helping lead Brother Martin to the State Finals this year, and now heading off to play for Loyola University next year.

Getting to document this moment in his journey was so special, not only because I’ve known Egan for so long, but also because I went to college with his parents. They’ve trusted me with Egan’s photos for years, and to wrap up his senior session by recreating one of his mom’s favorite childhood photos just felt like the perfect ending.
