Ethan’s Senior Session | The Mill in New Iberia

This one hits a little differently—because it’s my nephew, my godchild, and someone I’ve loved and watched grow since the very beginning.

Ethan has always been a little bit extraordinary. I still remember being amazed at how he could speak in full sentences before most kids were stringing words together. Over the years, I’ve gotten to see him change and grow in so many ways—from his firm “absolutely NO pictures” phase (yes, we all remember it!) to now, a high school graduate heading to UL in the fall.

He’s always been someone who’s hungry for knowledge. Ethan loves to learn, and he’s filled with so much insight and curiosity. Whether he’s diving into one of his many interests or having a thoughtful conversation about religion (the topic of many recent talks), he’s the kind of person who brings depth to everything he touches.

Ethan is logical, intelligent, and musically gifted—he played French horn for years and is now learning both acoustic and electric guitar. During his senior session, we made sure to include one of his guitars and his truck, personal touches that felt so him. We shot at The Mill in New Iberia, which was the perfect backdrop for a laid-back, meaningful session. And even though I know he didn’t really want to take pictures, he cooperated for me—and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Ethan, you’ve grown into such a remarkable young man. You’re thoughtful and talented, passionate and kind. You’ve always had something special, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next.

Your future is bright, and we are all cheering you on every step of the way. We love you so much. ❤️

Senior sessions are more than just portraits—they’re a celebration of all the growth, change, and potential wrapped up in this milestone moment. Ready to document your senior story? Let’s chat.
