Photos with babies and kids can feel a little overwhelming (I totally get it), but it doesn’t have to be that way. My mission is to make this whole process feel easy, enjoyable, and relaxed — for both you and your little one.
From choosing outfits to picking the perfect location, I’ll walk you through every step so you feel confident and prepared. Together, we’ll create images you’ll love without the stress — and maybe even have a little fun along the way.

Meet Jamie
I’m Jamie and I’ve been a wedding and portrait photographer for over 14 years. I absolutely love what I do, watching couples get married and then grow their families is such a blessing and one of my greatest joys. I truly want you to not only love your images, but to look back on the experience and remember how easy and fun it was. I know that choosing a photographer can be difficult these days, there are so many out there to choose from and I want you to know just how grateful I am when clients choose me!

Raised in Gretna, on the Westbank of New Orleans, I’ve lived in Houma for over 10 years (after spending 5 years in Morgan City, where I started my business and a short 6 months in Washington DC). You know what they say, you can take the girl out of New
Orleans, but you’ll never take the New Orleans out of the girl. I am also a part-time travel planner. My favorite places to travel are Disney World and Jamaica.
You can see some of my extensive headband, wrap, bonnet, prop, fur and backdrop collection here - all of it is available for use at all sessions. Upon booking, you will have access to our online gallery of backgrounds, props, client clothing and more.
All newborn and milestone studio sessions are held in my home studio (milestone sessions can also be scheduled outdoors on our property, weather permitting.) The studio is a dedicated space located right inside the front door of my home. It is fully equipped with everything we will need for the sessions - even clothing for your little ones up to 1 year old! In the studio, you have access to wifi, water and snacks. I have a few toys and coloring books for older siblings available as well. You are more than welcome to take behind-the-scenes photos while I’m working - I love when clients share these with me and usually try to incorporate them into Instagram Reels or TikToks! Please know that you are welcome here and we want you to feel at home!

Luxe Newborn Session - $875

With over 16 years of experience and a heart for capturing life’s most tender beginnings, I’ve dedicated myself to creating a newborn experience that’s both artistic and completely baby-led. Your little one’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.
Because your baby deserves a safe, stress-free, and heartfelt experience.
My cozy in-home studio is quiet, clean, and filled with everything we’ll need — from wraps and headbands to backdrops and props. You’ll be just a few feet away the entire time, able to relax (or snap a few behind-the-scenes photos!) while I gently work with your baby.
Only one newborn session is scheduled per day so I can take my time — no rushing, no stress. Everything is washed and sanitized between sessions, and if I’m ever feeling under the weather, I’ll reschedule without hesitation. Some poses may require an extra set of hands for safety, and others may be created with a little Photoshop magic to keep your baby comfortable at all times.
No need to book a firm date in advance — I simply mark your due date and reserve space around your delivery. Once baby arrives, we’ll schedule your session within the 7–14 day sweet spot. Sessions take place on weekday mornings only.
Before your session, you’ll receive a full Newborn Experience Guide with everything you need to feel prepared, plus a questionnaire and a link to my Look Book so you can tell me your favorite colors, props, or poses. You can be as involved or hands-off as you want!
You’ll get a sneak peek within 48 hours and your final gallery delivered in just 1–2 weeks. Most sessions include 30–40+ fully edited images depending on the package, delivered via a password-protected online gallery that never expires.
