What a wonderful way to end our 2020 wedding season! Lerin and Cameron’s wedding at Ellendale Country Club was so beautiful and lively – a fun-filled evening that every person there enjoyed, including us!
The months and weeks leading up to their wedding day were full of stress and uncertainty. With all of the Covid restrictions changing seemingly by the day, no one was sure what it would mean for their day. Thankfully, everything was able to move forward in a safe manner that still allowed them to have the wedding of their dreams.
The ceremony was held at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma. The reception followed at Ellendale Country Club, also in Houma, and featured entertainment by Velvet Sky, who had the guests dancing all night long. I love the bright and bold colors they chose – the red bridesmaids’ gowns, red florals, and blue suits for the groomsmen were a striking and perfect combination for this chilly evening.
Lerin and Cameron are so much fun and so are their family and friends. They met when they were in the Greek system at UL so of course, having a huge crowd of fraternity guys and sorority girls ensured the party would be a blast! I think one of my favorite moments, seen below with Cameron and his fraternity brothers on bended knee, is when they all came together to sing the PKE Dream Girl song to Lerin! I wish I would have been a videographer at that moment! Lerin made such a beautiful bride and I love the dress she chose.
