As a newborn photographer, I always aim to make my clients feel comfortable and heard during their sessions. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing newborn Wren, who arrived with her parents for their session. They had made a special request that there be minimal use of pink in their session but that it didn’t have to be avoided entirely.  This is why I clients fill out a session planner prior to coming to the studio so that I can tailor the session to their tastes.  I understand that not all families want the same style or color scheme for their newborn’s photo session, and I am always happy to accommodate their requests.

During the session, Wren was an absolute delight. She slept peacefully throughout the entire shoot, waking up just long enough to capture one sweet image with her eyes open.  We also incorporated a couple of blankets that Lainey said were special to them.
