You can read a little bit more about this beautiful mama and her family in a post I did a few years ago when I photographed Amelia. Dorothy is the 4th baby in this family that I’ve had the honor of photographing. It’s always so fun to look back on sibling sessions to see how much they resemble each other. I also think it’s interesting to see how my work has evolved over the years. Scroll to the bottom of this post to see some fun comparison photos!
Dorothy was wide awake at the beginning of her session, staring intently at me throughout the family photos. It didn’t take her long to settle into a peaceful sleep, though, and with a couple of nursing breaks, I was able to get everything I was hoping for. My favorite photo from this session is Jewel with all of her babies around her. She was obviously born to be a mama and she does it so well. Her babies are all beautiful and have the most adorable personalities. We stuck with neutrals and soft pinks and I just love how everything flows together so seamlessly.
