Karley’s original plan was either Avery Island or Rip Van Winkle in New Iberia.  Surprisingly, Avery Island still has not reopened from being shut down earlier this year.  Not only that, but our first scheduled session was rained out and we had to postpone a month!   That lead to having to choose another location and we wound up at the Botanical Gardens in City Park.

It was a beautiful afternoon to be in City Park, despite the Sunday crowds.  When the weather gets nice in New Orleans, everyone flocks to outdoor spaces!  As you can see, though, even in areas where there are people everywhere, we can make the photos look like you are the only ones around!

I’m so excited to work with Karley and Luke again over the next year – I know their wedding will be a blast!
