Some sessions take a little extra planning to get just the right look, and Lauren knew exactly what she wanted for her family’s photos! She didn’t want them to feel like they were taken in a local park, so we took the session to our property in Houma, where the rustic, overgrown field and sparse woods created the perfect backdrop. With its golden tones and natural textures, the setting had a beautiful fall feel—even though it was the middle of December!
Lauren, Andre, and their daughters, Aubrey and Cassidy, were such a wonderful family to work with. While Cassidy wasn’t exactly in the mood to smile, big sister Aubrey was a huge help, staying perfectly cooperative and setting the sweetest example. Despite the unexpected warmth of the day (which is pretty typical for a Louisiana winter!), we captured some beautiful moments of their family together, surrounded by nature and that soft, golden light.
