There’s something so special about bridal portraits—capturing a bride in her gown before the big day, seeing all the little details come together, and knowing these images will be treasured for years to come. Brandi’s bridal session at The Gilmour in Baton Rouge was no exception!

This was my first time photographing at The Gilmour, and it was stunning. The venue offers both beautiful indoor and outdoor locations for portraits, making it a dream setting for brides. On the day of Brandi’s session, it was raining, so we opted to stay inside and take advantage of the elegant interiors and the covered porches. Even with the rain, we had the perfect backdrop for timeless bridal portraits.

One of the most iconic shots at The Gilmour is the mirror portrait, and of course, we had to include it in Brandi’s gallery! There’s something so classic about that reflection—seeing a bride taking in the moment, just weeks away from her wedding.

Brandi had a great support team with her that day—her mom, her nanny, and her cousin all came along, making it such a fun and relaxed session. We took these portraits in early December, just before all the wedding excitement began, and now that she and Kayne are officially married, I’m so excited to finally share them!
