Keatyn’s Bridals at The Gilmour in Baton Rouge

Keatyn’s bridal session at The Gilmour in Baton Rouge was such a good one. She came with her mom and aunt, and the whole afternoon felt easy, relaxed, and just really sweet from start to finish. We had the kind of weather you always hope for this time of year—not too hot, bright and sunny, and just plain beautiful.

The Gilmour is truly one of the most perfect locations for bridal portraits, especially for brides who want a lot of variety without having to stress about the weather. If you’re worried about rain, heat, or just wanting a location that gives you beautiful options no matter what, it’s hard to beat. There are so many amazing indoor spaces, along with large porches and balconies that photograph beautifully, plus a lovely outdoor area with gorgeous oak trees, tall grass, and azaleas at the right time of year. Since these were taken in mid-March, everything was looking especially pretty.

Keatyn looked absolutely stunning, and The Gilmour fit her bridal portraits so well. One of the things I love most about this location is how it gives such a timeless, elegant feel while still offering a soft outdoor look too. It’s basically the best of both worlds, which makes it such a favorite for bridal sessions.

Her mom and aunt being there made the session even more special. I always love when brides bring along a couple of their favorite people because it adds such a personal, meaningful layer to the experience. It turns the session into more than just portraits—it becomes part of the whole wedding season memory.

And now, Keatyn is officially married!   She and Luke were married this weekend in Morgan City at Bethel Pentecostal Church and celebrated afterward with a beautiful reception at The Petroleum Club of Morgan City. I’ll be sharing photos from their wedding soon, and I already know that post is going to be such a good one.

If you’re planning bridal portraits and want a location with elegance, flexibility, and so much variety, The Gilmour in Baton Rouge is such a solid choice.
