Ashley and Seth’s wedding was supposed to be held in October, but they rescheduled because of Ida and were finally able to get married in February.   Their unique, bold wedding was held at La Patinoire because Ashley liked that they could do everything in one place.   La Patinoire is unique because it not only has a bridal suite for the girls but it has a man cave for the guys as well!   Their courtyard is also a great space for photos.

As I mentioned, Ashley and Seth’s wedding was tailored to them.   I had never met them before but there was no doubt that the wedding suited them 100% – even the attire that the bridal party wore was perfect for them and their friends.   I love how all of the girls wore different shades of red and purple and the guys all wore black converse.  Their ceremony was one of the funniest I’ve heard – one of their friends was the officiant and her irreverent comments had everyone laughing.

Ashley wanted to focus on photos of her and Seth together as well as their 4 children.  Because they did a first look, we had plenty of time for not only bride and groom photos, but we got some great family shots and photos with the kids as well.  Once the ceremony was over and photos were done, the lights went off and the party started.  Their daughter Salem was definitely the life of the party – she didn’t stop dancing the whole time!   Just take a look at the video clips I put together for them.   I don’t do video at every wedding I photograph – I’m not a videographer so I don’t consider myself professional or very good at it, but when a reception is longer than usual, I have plenty of time to play around.  Putting the clips together was fun and I hope Ashley and Seth enjoy it!  Their wedding really was a lot of fun!
