This sweet baby girl captured my heart during her one year session!  She was so reserved and shy when she first arrived – so unsure about what was going on and about me.  Her mom and dad said she doesn’t warm up to many people, so it made me a little nervous – would I be able to get her to smile when she was obviously so unsure about being here?  Just look at this progression of images, though and how much she warmed up as the session went on!   By the 3rd setup, Oaklyn was walking up to me and smiling at me – it made my heart so happy!  Isn’t she just the sweetest, tiniest little baby??  And she definitely enjoyed shoveling icing into her mouth for her cake smash session!

From the moment I met Kristy and her family at their Avery Island maternity session last year, I just loved being around them.  They are so kind and loving – you can just feel how close they are as a family and how much Oaklyn just completes them.  And she LOVES her big sister so much – I know it must bring so much joy to their parents to see them together!  We even photographed her as a newborn in big sister’s rocking chair from when she was little!
