Jewel is a beautiful mama that I first met many years ago when I photographed her engagement and wedding. Even though she is now a very talented photographer, owner of Oak + Field Heirloom Photography, I am so honored that she chose to come back to me to photograph her 3rd baby, Amelia. Jewel and Joseph make some seriously gorgeous babies, too. Evelyn and Mcallister (Mac) have grown up into the cutest kiddos with the most precious personalities. You can tell they have photos taken of them all the time because they were naturals in front of the camera. They were also very curious about what was going on with their baby sister Amelia, standing over me asking questions and making sure I was being careful with her.
I have always enjoyed having this family in my studio – they are both so kind and caring. Jewel and I were able to have some great conversations over the course of the morning, especially about photography and the issues surrounding the business when it comes to other local photographers. I wrote a post on FB the other day about things I’ve learned over the years which was sparked by our conversation. Jewel has learned some of these lessons early on in her business and I’m so proud of her for that. She’s not only talented, but she’s sweet and she deserves to do well in this industry! When we as women business owners come together to support and encourage each other, it’s a beautiful thing!
Now back to Amelia and all of her squishiness <3 This baby girl, the biggest of her 3 siblings, was just so darn cute! With those precious cheeks and all of her adorable rolls, I enjoyed photographing her so much. And it’s amazing how much she looks like her sister and brother – I can’t wait to see what she looks like when she gets older!
