What an honor it was to be a part of this celebration!   Calvin and Marion have the most beautiful relationship and the sweetest family.   From the moment I met them last summer, when we took some family photos, they’ve been so welcoming and kind.

Their actual 50th anniversary was back in October and the celebration was supposed to be at that time as well, but because of Ida and the impact it had on many of their family members, it was postponed to February.  We had some chilly but beautiful weather, perfect for outdoor photos at Cypress Columns.  The first photo is of Calvin and Marion with their original bridal party!

After the vow renewal, there were traditional dances as well as some other extra special dances.   I love how they included everyone in these – not only did the bride and groom have their first dance, but there was a mother-son dance and a father-daughter dance as well.  These were followed by dances for all the grandchildren, their son, Cal, and his wife, and even their grandson and his longtime girlfriend.   There was just so much love and respect throughout the entire evening!
