It’s hard to believe that sweet Ava is already one! It feels like just yesterday that I was photographing her Fresh 48 session at home, and even before that, capturing her parents’ wedding. This session was extra special because I’ve known Ava’s family for so long—I even photographed her Aunt Devon’s senior portraits when I was just starting out in photography!
Going into the session, Jamie was a little nervous about how Ava would do, but as it turns out, she had the best time! She gave us so many smiles, showed off her adorable personality, and made the cutest facial expressions. She even had a whole cheering squad with her—both grandparents came along, with Grandpa hiding in a corner, ready to pop out if we needed some extra smiles. It was the sweetest thing!
One of Ava’s favorite things? Clapping! She loved celebrating herself, and it made for some of the most precious photos. The only thing she wasn’t too sure about? Her cake! She wasn’t particularly interested in diving in, but she did sneak a few fingerfuls of icing—just enough for us to capture some adorable cake smash moments.
Jamie, thank you for trusting me once again to capture these special milestones! Ava is such a joy, and I can’t wait to watch her continue to grow. 💕
