Aubrey’s one-year session was such a joy from start to finish! She has the shiniest, happiest little personality—and one of her favorite things is watching videos of herself. Almost all of those big, beautiful smiles you’ll see? Yep, they happened while she was giggling at her own videos. It was the cutest thing!

I’ve been photographing Aubrey since her newborn session, and one thing that hasn’t changed is her gorgeous head of hair and those striking brown eyes. She’s always had so much hair, and it’s just as full and adorable as ever!

She decided to skip her nap the day of her session (as one-year-olds tend to do), so by the time we got to the cake smash, she was definitely feeling a little sleepy. But even then, she surprised us all—she gently tasted her cake and stuck with it longer than I expected. It was the perfect, sweet ending to such a fun session.

Happy first birthday, Aubrey! It’s been such a treat to watch you grow this year!
