We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon for Katelyn’s bridal session at the Botanical Garden in New Orleans.  And the Botanical Garden was the perfect background for this stunning, classic bride and I had fun exploring it with Katelyn, her mom, and her nanny.   Katelyn made a beautiful bride and looked like a princess in her wedding gown from Chez Lili.

The New Orleans Botanical Garden is one of my favorite outdoor locations for bridal sessions.  Although it closes early, well before sunset during the spring and summer, there are still so many beautiful areas that are shaded enough for photos.   During the winter and fall, the lighting is absolutely beautiful in the hour before closing.  There are gardens, bushes, large old oak trees, structures, and even a greenhouse full of cacti and succulents.    Katelyn was excited about the butterfly garden and we tried waiting for a butterfly to land on or near her, but they weren’t cooperating.
