A newborn photo shoot is a special opportunity to capture the beauty and innocence of your little one, but it’s also a chance to express your unique interests and personality. New parents are often so focused on their baby that they forget to include elements that showcase their own interests and hobbies, but incorporating these elements can add a personal touch to the photo shoot and make the images even more meaningful.

There are lots of ways you can express your personality through your baby’s first photoshoot!   Hobbies, sports, travel, music, nature, books – whatever your interests are, we can find a way to showcase them through your session.   As you can see in the following images, I really love to take a more subtle approach to incorporate these things.

When you book a newborn session, you’ll receive a session planner where you can let me know what you want to include, your likes/dislikes, color preferences, etc.  Adelynn’s parents wanted to include their faith and their love of Disney.  Adelynn’s nursery is Winnie the Pooh themed, so I knew I wanted to include that but it was also really important to include their faith as well, especially since they are youth pastors at their church.

Incorporating your interests into a newborn photo shoot is a great way to make the images unique and personal. It allows you to express your personality and showcase the things that are important to you.
