Galatea LVI Ball and Tableau – February 2025

For the fourth year in a row, we had the chance to photograph the Krewe of Galatea’s Tableau and Ball, and it just keeps getting better. It’s always fun to capture the excitement and creativity of this all-female krewe as they celebrate Mardi Gras in Morgan City!

This year, Wayne Mayon Sr. and Angela Kraemer were crowned King and Queen Galatea LVI, leading the night’s events at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. The theme, “Galatea Observes the Night Sky,” was brought to life with some amazing costumes and cool light-up details that made everything feel extra special.

The royal court was inspired by space, with members dressed as the moon, nebula, aurora borealis, planets, and more. Each costume was designed to match something from the night sky, and the glowing details made everything stand out. The colors, lights, and creative ideas made for some really great photos!

Photographing this event every year is always exciting, but this year’s theme was especially fun. The bright colors, cool lighting, and space theme gave us a lot of awesome moments to capture. It’s clear how much effort and planning the Krewe of Galatea puts into making this night special.

And the fun isn’t over yet! We’re looking forward to the Galatea parade in just a few weeks. Taking place on Sunday, March 2 during the day, this parade is one of the best options for families looking to enjoy Mardi Gras. Morgan City parades are always family-friendly and a great way for locals to celebrate in a fun, safe, and exciting environment. Seeing the krewe rolling through the streets in their amazing outfits and celebrating with the community is always a highlight of the season!

Congratulations again to King Wayne Mayon Sr., Queen Angela Kraemer, and the entire royal court for an unforgettable night. We can’t wait to share even more photos soon!
