How special are the family photos from Olivia’s newborn session?  I absolutely love that Janie’s parents were included in the session.   Her parents were so in love with their new and only grandbaby, they just beamed with pride when they would look at her.   And of course, mom and dad are completely smitten by their baby girl as well!  We took all of these newborn photos in Janie and Jared’s home.

You may remember Janie and Jared from their maternity session at Ardoyne Plantation a couple of months ago.   Janie was such a beautiful mama-to-be.  Olivia is just as photogenic as her parents and is the cutest, squishiest little thing.  She absolutely loved taking photos as long as she was cozy and wrapped.   She was even fine posing in the bucket but once I started messing with her hands and feet, she said, no way lady!   I think it’s so funny when baby’s are already so particular about things and I’m always curious how indicative it is of their personalities in the future.  I sure hope I get to see Ms. Olivia again in a year or two to see how her personality has developed!

In addition to the sweet images of Olivia’s grandparents, one of the baskets we used was a request from her daddy and the gown we photographed her in is from her aunt.  I always love to accommodate client requests no matter what!  Sometimes it can be difficult but in this case, I love how they came out!
