This family session at Ducros Plantation was over a year in the making!   This family originally scheduled with me at the beginning of last summer but due to the all the rain we had, we wound up rescheduling about 4-5 times.  And what a huge bummer since the ONE thing mom said she wanted to avoid on her questionnaire was RAIN!   Not only did we have weather issues, but their original location shut down for a movie production then sustained damage in Hurricane Ida, so we had to find a new location.   And now, almost a full year later, we FINALLY got a day with no rain at a beautiful location!

Enter the 2 year old …. Sophia is the most precious baby girl, but she was absolutely not into having family pictures done!   It took lots of daddy and brother antics, mommy snuggles and just letting her run around and do her thing to get some smiles from her.   Big brother Cooper was the perfect little model and was so patient with his baby sister.   There may have even been a game of “fetch” with a stick involved to get some of these photos!    Overall, it was a fun afternoon with this crew – a little hot and humid, but nothing that we couldn’t overcome, and I just love how they turned out!
