I’m so excited to share Alexis’ Longue Vue House Bridal Session. This gorgeous location is one of my favorites for bridals. This is the second time I’ve been here since the hurricane, the first time was less than a month later, and it was already cleaned up and ready for portrait sessions. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and have so many different areas to use. I feel like I haven’t even explored half of this place!
Alexis and Taylor were married over the weekend at St. Francis of Assisi church in New Orleans and their wedding was a BLAST! Actually, every moment I’ve worked with Alexis and Taylor has been fun! I first met Alexis in the summer of 2020 and photographed her and Taylor’s engagement session in January. She works as 2nd grade teacher alongside my mom, so we met shortly after she contacted me to book her wedding. And this girl is busy! Being a 2nd grade teacher is hectic enough, especially during this pandemic, but Alexis is also in school for her master’s degree. Those 2 things on top of planning a wedding are enough to make anyone crazy but Alexis has gotten through it all with grace and a big smile!
Being so busy, we didn’t have a chance to even book her bridal session until less than 2 weeks before the wedding – but we got them done and I just love how they came out! I had so much fun with Alexis and her mom this day – Taylor’s mom even joined us towards the end! I can’t wait to share images from their wedding soon!
