I’ve been holding on to EllaMae’s newborn session for several months now a the request of her parents because she’s been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for acute myeloid leukemia at St. Jude since she was just a few weeks old. Now that EllaMae is 4 months old and doing well with her treatments, she is now back in Louisiana for outpatient treatments in Baton Rouge, but they still have to travel back and forth to Memphis for various appointments and tests. I was really excited to see both EllaMae and her mom, Kayla a couple of weeks ago for her 4 month Grow with Me session. She’s a beautiful baby girl who was happy throughout her session and gave her mom the sweetest, most loving smiles and looks. Although EllaMae is doing well and tolerating her chemotherapy treatments, she still has a few months to go and with all of the traveling and time taken off of work, a GoFundMe has been set up for her and her parents.
