Where in the world do I possibly begin with this sweet family??  A lot of times I begin these posts by speaking about engagement photos or weddings but this is an even more special case than that!   I met Ashley when I photographed her SENIOR PORTRAITS 7 years ago!!  Wow … that makes me feel OLD!   We had so much fun that day, it’s one of the sessions I won’t forget!  Ashley is just such a beautiful person, inside and out – and so is her family – being around them is always a good time!  So of course, photographing their first baby is such a special occasion!

Poor Ashley had a stressful 2nd half of her pregnancy – like many new mamas these days!  Between a baby shower that wasn’t what it was supposed to be and having to cancel her maternity session and then not being able to have visitors at the hospital (I know the grandparents were probably devastated by that news) … the last several months have just been so emotional for her.  So their was a sign of relief at being able to schedule and photograph Sawyer for her newborn session at just 8 days old!  And she couldn’t have been more perfect for her session – and taking photos of her with her mom’s wedding veil was especially meaningful since Ashley and Chance will be celebrating their one year anniversary in just a couple of weeks.  Congratulations and happy anniversary!  I can’t wait to work with you guys and see Sawyer again!
