Natalia – isn’t that such a beautiful name?  This precious baby girl came in last month with her momma, Thalia, for her mini newborn session.  They recently moved here from Colorado, so we talked a bit about the differences between Colorado and Houma and what an adjustment that must be.  I don’t know how it’s possible to get used to Louisiana after living in a place like Colorado.  I love where we live but does anyone else feel like when it comes to beauty in nature, Louisiana is on the bottom of that list?  Colorado is a place that I’ve always wanted to visit!

Some other places on my “to visit sooner rather than later” list are:  Pacific Northwest, Yellowstone, and the Grand Canyon!  I’ve been to the Grand Canyon, but I was around 12 at the time, so I’d love to go back to take the kids.  I would also love to see Banff and Glacier National Park, but I’m not positive I’d really enjoy it other than the beautiful views.   What exactly do you do out in all that nature??  Actually, looking back on those places I listed, they are all about viewing the beauty of nature – I’m more of a city girl that likes to GO GO GO on vacation.  Give me all the tourist attractions, shopping, dining and activities.  New York, Nashville and Orlando are definitely more my speed!
