One of my favorite parts of a wedding day or a bridal session is getting to see the kind of dress a bride chooses. When I saw Hannah for the first time during her bridals at Ardoyne Plantation, I knew her dress was special. Hannah’s wedding dress was made from her mom’s wedding gown, which she wore 30 years ago! I asked if they had preserved it and even though they did, they wound up tossing it in the washing machine before it was deconstructed and remade into this beautiful dress for Hannah. You’ll notice in a few images that Hannah doesn’t have a train. The train is detachable and covered in some of the beautiful lace details from the original dress. Such a unique dress and perfect for Hannah!
Hannah and Steven were married over the weekend at St. Stephens and had their reception at Atchafalaya Golf Course in Patterson. It was a beautiful wedding and I can’t wait to share some of the best moments of the day!
