What a journey it’s been with this beautiful girl and her family! You can read more details in past posts but I was supposed to be there when this baby girl entered the world! We had birth photos scheduled but unfortunately, she was born in March, literally within a day or two of the hospitals no longer allowing visitors. I was able to squeeze in a Fresh 48 at their home the day before I had to shut down my business for 2 months due to the stay at home order. When I uploaded her one year photos to her gallery, I took some time to look back at the photos of her birth and coming home. I was so sad that Amanda wouldn’t get the photos of Abigail’s birth that she wanted, so I set up my camera for them and let them use it to photograph it themselves – and Allen did a great job!
This was actually our second try at Abigail’s session and cake smash. When she came the first time, she wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want any part of taking photos. After a bottle, in the hopes that she would perk up, she threw up all over poor Amanda! That was definitely the end of that! I’m so happy that we were finally able to get her into the studio to take these photos.
I love her little bunny dress so much – the colors are so soft and pretty! Amanda wanted a Peter Rabbit / Easter theme so I set up a girly, spring time backdrop with lots of florals!
